WHAT IS ANNUAL MULTI-TRIP INSURANCE?
This insurance policy gives cover for an unlimited number of trips 31, 45, 62 or 93 days a time with cancellation cover over a defined one year period selecting either Europe or Worldwide options. Cover can be offered to individuals, couples, 1 or 2 parent families with children under 18 with options to include wintersports and/or golf equipment.
WHAT IS SKI INSURANCE?
This insurance policy gives individual cover for one sole winter sports holiday of a specified number of days. Cover is available for stays from your choice of 2-31 days selecting the areas of UK, Europe, Australia & New Zealand or Worldwide.
BAGGAGE COVER - DO I NEED IT?
Many people already have their personal possessions covered under the “all risks” section of the home and contents policy covering items up to a certain value out of the home. WHY DOES AGE GOVERN PRICES?
Travel underwriters look at previous year's travel insurance claims statistics to monitor the ratio of paid insurance premiums to claims paid out and this formula means that prices do increase with age to cover the increasing risk of a claim.
WHAT COVER DO I GET?
This will depend on the level you decide is best for you. You will have a price choice from medical cover only through cancellation, baggage, lower excess with varying levels of extra cover for a variety of unexpected occurrences.
WHAT IS AN EXCESS?
This is the amount that the insurer will deduct from your claim payment under specific sections of the terms of the specific insurance policy at the time of finalising an agreed claim.
HOW DO I MAKE A CLAIM?
Just read the policy document to find the details of the claims office and phone number. Proof of loss and purchase/ownership of lost items will be needed to progress your claim. Medical emergencies can be handled by contacting the relevant service at the time of a medical emergency at which time often payment will be made direct to the medical services.
